Shenanigans!

It's been a loooonggg time since I've taken the time to post and there's a good reason for that.. we've moved to a new house!  Not only that, but since the last time I wrote, I'm now a whole year older!  That's right, I'm a 4 year old!  I'll post some pictures from my birthday party very soon.  In the meantime, here are some pictures of me & my sissy before our big move..

We are always helping Mommy with laundry & boy oh boy are we amazing assistants!  As Reese tips the basket & pulls out clothes, I tend to plow through my mom's neatly folded stacks she arranges on the floor.

Is this girl a nutter or what?!  Speaking of nutters, you'll see that I'm just hanging out on the couch in the background in all my naked glory.  And why does the house look trashed?!

Oh right, the "Disaster Crew" as Mommy calls us, are fabulous at trashing the room in thirty seconds flat!

Okay, okay, maybe we aren't the best helpers, but we sure are cute!

And speaking of cute, my adorably sweet teacher from my P3 class has moved on to bigger & better things!  I'm going to miss Miss Brandi lots & so will my parents!  I've recently moved up to P4 but would still go back to P3 in the evenings before pick-up to spend time with Miss Brandi.  As much as she'll be missed, we know she'll do awesome as a high school teacher!

Oscar & the zit

Yesterday Reese, Daddy & myself hit Publix for a few groceries.  Turns out they were doing a little event with cookie decorating & face painting.  I had a blue smiley face painted on my cheek & I refused to let my mommy & daddy wash it off, even before bed.  I sure paid for that though & now I'm sporting my very first pimple!

Yick!  My porcelain skin is tainted! ;o)

In other news, this is my friend Oscar!  Also, I move to a new classroom tomorrow since I'll be turning four soon.  As much as I'll miss my P3 teachers, Miss Brandi & Miss Christina, I look forward to getting to know Miss Debbie & Miss Katie in P4!  Oh & in other random news, I knocked my sissy's paci & clip into the toilet today.  Not only that but there was pee in the toilet!  Luckily Mommy came in to check on me so Reesey's paci is getting a nice hot bath in the dishwasher tonight!

Big girl!

So, as of last Wednesday, I'm officially able to stand in my crib!  Mommy was laying me down for a nap when she peeked in to check on me & saw my sweet, little face peeking over the crib rails!

That's right, I'm pretty big stuff!

It seems like every day I'm able to get into more & more things!  I'm not positive that Cam loves this, but I think he does appreciate that I'm a better play mate these days!

9 month stats!

Today Mommy & I headed to the doctor for my 9 month well baby visit.  Not only did I have to get two shots but I also had my big toe pricked to check my iron counts (which were perfect).  Ouch!  I'm such a tough cookie though & didn't even flinch to the toe prick & barely cried during the shots.

My growth & development are right on track & the doctor said I'm absolutely perfect.  But Mommy & Daddy didn't need the doctor to tell them that.. they already knew!

So, I've grown 9" and gained 13# since birth..wow!  Click here to see Cameron's 9 month stats.  He weighed three pounds more than me and was 1.5" taller!  It also turns out that he was working on his 6th tooth at nine months old while I'm still sporting a gummy grin!  Every baby is different, eh?

Today Grammy & Auntie Erika flew in from Chicago to see us!!

Auntie Erika met Reese for the very first time today!!  I think it was love at first sight!

We're looking so forward to their two week visit & can't wait to have so much fun with them!

We're so lucky to have such awesome family!

Soaring!

These days, I love pulling the cushions off the couch to build tents, make forts & just jump around on pillows.  Daddy caught me soaring through the air like a bird the other day!  Speaking of flying like a bird, hop over to Mommy's blog to see pictures of my grandpa skydiving today!

I'm fearless so Mommy is typically in the background saying, Cam, please be careful!

But Daddy is much more laid back about my boyness!

I always have so much fun playing around & roughhousing with my daddy!

And just being a crazy little boy!

In other news, I'm doing a great job of staying in bed at night & loading up my chart with stars & happy faces!  

My progress did a 180 when I was at Leah's house & saw her star chart.  From that day on, I've stayed in bed every single night after saying, I'm going to beat Leah!  My mommy & daddy are just fine with that & loving that my competitive nature is keeping my booty in bed!

Summer randoms

Well, it's officially summer & we've been having a fun time in the Florida heat.  Well, I guess we avoid the Florida heat at all costs, so we've just been having fun in general.

Reese loved Mumford & Sons & crawled over to watch the TV while they were on!

Swimming has been my thing lately & I'm a little fish!  I still can't swim on my own, but I do great with the help of a little inner tube.  Reese has swam twice this summer (her first times) & she loves it too!

We've spent lots of fun time with our family too!

Pretty soon Reese will be meeting her Auntie Erika for the first time when she & Grammy come for a visit!  We cannot wait!

I'm very good friends with Stella these days.  That's if I don't bother her during a nap because when I do, she just about bites my head off.  She loves to lick me & Reese & now I'm big enough for her to curl up on my lap.

Tenting

Lately I've been wanting to build tents in my living room before bed bedtime.  

Luckily my dad is an awesome builder & helps me out!

I always invite Mommy & Daddy to join me in my fort & I never leave my pets out of the fun either!

It's become my routine to start building right as Reese is getting ready for bed!  She's too little to join in, but before we know it, she'll be right in the action with us.

And after all of that building, it's time for me to take a much needed rest!

Playing around

On Memorial Day, Mommy & Daddy took out a new toy for me to play with.  Turns out it wasn't new at all!  It was something that my grandma & grandpa got me for my second birthday.  Since I wasn't yet old enough to play with it, they stowed it away in my closet.

I had so much fun playing with my new Zippity toy!  

My favorite thing to do these days is play with "mommy's new toy" which is the tablet Mommy got for her birthday.  I love playing Angry Birds which I refer to as "Red Birds."  It's truly current obsession!  And Reese's obsession is playing in her jumper.  And chewing on things!

Speaking of Reese, we were able to to take our first bath together on Memorial Day.  It was a lot of fun!  My sissy is really growing up!

We're going to have so much fun growing up together!

Reese's 6 month stats

Daddy picked me up early from school today.  Here I was, thinking he had something fun in store for us.  I mean, it isn't often that I get out of school early for one-on-one time with Daddy without my brother.

Well, turns out that there were other things in store for me.  Not so wonderful things, either!  We were headed to the pediatrician for my 6 month well visit.  The nerve of my parents to try & keep me healthy!

Anyway, all looked great & I'm growing like a cute, little weed!  I've been congested for what seems like 3 months now.  No exaggeration, either. Mommy & Daddy started to think maybe it was allergies, but Dr. LaCross said that babies don't have seasonal allergies.  And apparently babies also can't get sinus infections because we don't have sinuses like adults.  Learn something new everyday!

Even though it was Daddy taking me to the doctor, Mommy was stressed over the idea of me getting 3 shots.  But of course I handled it like a champ as usual & I was happy as can be tonight.

Here are my 6 month stats:

Head circumference: 17.32" (88%)

Height: 26.5" (77%)

Weight: 16.6# (64%)

So, I've grown 7" since I've been born!  That's nuts!  That's like my mommy going from her current 5'2" to 5'9" in 6 short months!  Us babies are amazing creatures, I tell ya.  I've gained 9.53# since birth which is 134%.  Wow.  I was looking at my big brother's stats & I weigh about 3.5# less than he did at this time & I'm 1.5" shorter.  Click here to check out Cam's 6 month stats.

My new friend

This weekend when we were spending time at Grandma & Grandpa's house for Mother's Day, I met a new friend!

Meet my new buddy, Diego who I named myself!

Grandpa pointed Diego out to me & when I went over to check him out, he jumped into Daddy's hands.  Then I held him & he jumped from my hands to my shoulder where he perched for some time.

After we got to know each other, I set him free!  Bye, Diego, it was great to meet you!
