Best buddy's birthday

Last Saturday was my best friend Leah's third birthday!



Isn't she just the cutest little thing?! Leah chose a princess theme for her party.



And everyone had such a great time!



The cupcakes were my favorite part, of course!



Avery loved them too!



And so did the birthday girl!



Josh, Daddy & Chris enjoyed beer instead.




We all jumped our booties off in the bounce house!



And Reese napped her booty off in her swing!

Grammy, Papa & Uncle Nick

January was a very busy month & we had a lot of visitors! Grammy stayed for all of January & in that time Uncle Nick & Papa came for a visit but at separate times.



Everyone got to meet Reese for the first time & of course they instantly fell in love with her! I've got a pretty cute baby sister!



Papa couldn't believe how big I've gotten & how well I'm talking since the last time we saw each other.



We enjoyed Grammy's last day here by spending most of our Saturday outside.



We miss Grammy lots & we're already looking forward to her next visit!

Two Months!

On Wednesday we headed to the doctor with Grammy & Daddy for my two month well-visit with the pediatrician.



Unfortunately I had to get 2 shots but I didn't cry very much since I'm a tough cookie! I really enjoyed drinking the Rotavirus vaccination though!



I'm smiling all the time these days & growing so big!





Here are my two month stats:

Height: 23 inches (71%)
Weight: 11#, 4oz (58%)
Head Circumference: 15.75" (78%)

Weekend Fun

Even though last Saturday was cold we braved it & headed to Busch Gardens & had such a great time, as usual.



Reese was bundled up & cozy as can be!



Me & Leah enjoyed some tasty cotton candy & I even managed to get a string of it on my nose!



Yum, yum!











I was like a little monkey roaming around the jungle gym!



This orangutan happened to vomit on the window & proceed to lick it up. And not once but twice! What the heck?!





I've gotten to be so brave too & I'm now making my way across the rope bridge all by myself!! It was my first time going without holding anyone's hand!





We had such a great time with my family & friends!

Look alikes!

So many people who meet my sister tell us that she looks just like me! Lucky girl! As soon as Mommy & Daddy met Reese, they thought the same thing too. Here's a picture of the two of us at two months old. In my picture, I'm one day shy of 2 months & in Reese's picture, she's 2 days shy of 2 months. You be the judge, do we look alike?

So much fun!

We love going to Busch Gardens whenever possible so we headed there this weekend to enjoy the beautiful day with Grammy.



I always so much fun playing in the Sesame Street area & one day Reese will be able to enjoy it with me!



In the meantime, it was only her second time at Busch Gardens & she slept most of the time or just lounged in the back of our stroller.



I, on the other hand, was a busy bee who climbed around & rode lots of rides!



Grammy & I took the Sky Ride to lunch while Mommy, Daddy & Reese watched us from below & met us there by foot.



We had an awesome day as usual!

It was a great Christmas!

We had an awesome Christmas this year & Reese enjoyed the heck out of her very first Christmas!



Grandma & Grandpa got me an amazing Lightening McQueen that I can actually drive! I was seriously in shock when I first saw it! I've been a bit intimidated driving it, but I'll get the hang of it soon enough!



Hope everyone else had a wonderful Christmas too and an awesome New Year! Goodbye 2011 & hello 2012... can't wait to discover what the new year will bring!

My First Christmas!

I'm excited that this is my very first Christmas & I wanted to take a moment to wish you all a Merry Christmas & a Happy New Year!!

Since we don't have any snow in the 80 degree weather of Florida, Mommy decided to make some for me & Leah to play in!



And while we were at it, we just wanted to wish you all a Merry Christmas!

Busch Gardens Fun

This past Sunday I had a one-on-one day with my Mommy. It was so nice since those moments haven't been happening quite as often now that my parents are busy with Baby Reese. Don't get me wrong, I'm definitely not neglected, but things have just been a little different. Darn babies!



We headed to Busch Gardens in the morning, had some breakfast at McDonald's on the way & met up with Grandma, Grandpa, Uncle Mike, Auntie Mel, Auntie Lauren, Maddy & Mikayla. We all have season passes & wanted to celebrate Uncle Mike's & Grandpa's birthdays. Daddy stayed home with Reese so she wouldn't get sick & we could have a more relaxing day.



I think my favorite part was when we fed the Lorikeets! We had a blast & laughed our heads off when the birds landed on us..



Mommy had tears streaming down her face when one landed on my head, that's how hard she was laughing!



And I got some snuggle time with Auntie Lauren!





I always love checking out all of the animals!



But the best part was spending the day with my family. It wasn't the same without Daddy or Reese but we still had a ton of fun!!

2 Week Doctor's Appointment

Yesterday Mommy & Grandma took me to the pediatrician for my 2 week well baby visit. The appointment was basically just a weight/length check & I'm doing great!



Stats so far:

Birth: 7#, 1oz
Weight at 3 days old (11/17/11): 6#, 9oz
Weight at 2 weeks (12/1/11): 7#, 9oz (23rd percentile)

Length at birth: 19.5"
Length at 3 days: 19.75"
Length at 2 weeks: 21"(72%)

Head circumference at 2 weeks: 14" (35%)

So I gained a full pound in two weeks time!! The doctor was very impressed with my progress.. I've been eating like a champ & getting plumper by the day!

Holiday Fun

I had so much fun celebrating my fourth Thanksgiving! I even got to skip my nap that day... woo hooo! I spent time with my family & had a blast playing with my cousins as we zipped around outside on our bikes & scooters.





After dinner Mikayla & I enjoyed some chocolate chip cookies. Yum yum!



And on Friday we headed to the Christmas tree farm to pick our tree. After my nap I was even able to help Mommy & Daddy decorate it. So far I'm having a blast this holiday season!
