A Very Merry Un-Birthday!

Today was most certainly not my birthday, but it was my half birthday!

Here I was last year on my half birthday; only six months old! At that time I could barely roll over, but now I'm running, climbing & getting into all sorts of things I shouldn't!

I had a lot of fun celebrating my half birthday tonight! When I got home from day care, I played a bit of peek-a-boo behind our curtains!

Next it was time for dinner!

Aww yeah! Homemade mac n' cheese made in my honor! I must be pretty darn special.

And not only did I watch a bit of my Baby Einstein as I normally do, but...

I got to watch Cars for the very first time! I've been reading my Cars books for ages now & it was pretty amazing to see them in action on the big screen! Well, on the tv screen, but you know what I mean!

Last, but most certainly not least, I enjoyed a freshly baked cookie as a bedtime snack to wrap up my very, merry un-birthday!

Hoop Dreams!

Saturday afternoon we headed over to Kristen & Steve's house for some fun that included shooting hoops!

I think we have the next Michael Jordan on our hands!!

Not Daddy... I meant me! I'm the next Michael Jordan!

And Leah was cheering us on! Cutest cheerleader I know!

Boo! I love opening & closing doors!

Snuggling with my Auntie Kelly!

Leah was good luck for Uncle Matt since he had nothing but net!

It's my belly!

Love my mama!

Saturday in the Park

Saturday morning we left the house bright & early, hit the McDonald's drive-through for some breakfast & headed out for a wiffle ball tournament with Auntie Kelly, Uncle Matt & Leah. The day couldn't have been more beautiful & it was so amazing to enjoy the fresh air.

Checked out the beautiful grounds before the baseball games began!

Mommy has her hands full with me & Leah! Of course Leah is dainty & light & I'm like a mini tank!

Peek-a-boo! I had fun playing by the soccer goals!

My pretty gal is walking so well!

Ahh, what a gorgeous morning! Cool breeze, warm sun & a wonderful view.

Play ball!

Here's a sigh to those who love me,
And a smile to those who hate;
And, whatever sky's above me,
Here's a heart for every fate.
~George Gordon, Lord Byron, "To Thomas Moore"

I'm not exactly sure what this whole St. Patrick's Day thing is about, but I do know that I was dressed in a green, Lucky Charms t-shirt for school today, I had a tasty green cookie at school & we had a delightful Irish dinner of bangers & mash! Whatever St. Patrick's Day may be, I can tell you that I am a big fan!

Here I was last year for my very 1st St. Patrick's Day! Mind you, I was just shy of 6 months old here, so I didn't have a flippin clue as to what was going on. Now I'm much more mature & cultured at the ripe old age of 17 months old!

Anyway, lets move on to present day...

This was our Irish dinner tonight; bangers & mash with a side of green beer. I mean green apple juice!

Although this drink was just apple juice, it tasted so much better being green!

Hello, dinner, welcome to my belly!

It was spoon lickin' good!

Happy St. Patrick's Day to all! Hope this day found everyone well with a spring in your step & love in your heart! Cheers!

Jam Packed!

Our weekend was very busy & jam-packed with fun! We kicked things off by spending time with Auntie Kelly, Uncle Matt & my best girl, Leah! After us kids went to bed, the adults got to enjoy my dad's delicious pizza. I personally think it's nonsense that they have all the fun after we go to bed! Boo!

I was just loving on my favorite gray cat, Casper! This cat of mine is incredibly tolerant!

Saturday morning was absolutely beautiful, so we took a trip to the park & I had a ball kicking the ball!

Saturday evening we went to our friend Joanie's house & I was able to experience my very first jump on the trampoline. Me & my mom were laughing so hard we could barely breathe!

Then on Sunday we headed to The Villages for my Great Grandma Schuth's 92nd birthday! I was able to catch up with lots of my family... some who I haven't seen in over a year! That's my cousin Cole in the picture above & he's a year older than me. And of course you already know Mikayla!

Here I am crashing the girl's tanning session! Mikayla & Chloe were so relaxed before I came stomping in!

And here I am with my cousin's & my wonderful Great Grandma Schuth! I'm so lucky to have such a wonderfully wacky family!

"More Bath!"

My mommy & daddy have been teaching me sign language since I was about 6 months old & I've really caught on quickly. However, there are times when I'm very excited about something & I sign so quickly that I get my words mixed up.

So, on Saturday morning when I wanted my dad to share more cereal with me, instead of signing "more, please," I kept on signing, "more, bath!"

But, either way, they new what I wanted & delivered the food to my wide open trap! And that made me one happy camper.

I am SUCH a goofball!

Play Date!

On Sunday, my mommy & I went for a play date with seven other kids. We met a nice girl named Jill at my girl friend, Leah's party & she wanted a cool kid like myself to be part of their monthly meet-ups. I don't blame her, seeing as I am quite nifty.

Anyway, I happened to be the only boy which was rather cool! I was so happy when I recognized my best buddy, Leah & then mingled amongst the rest of the group & got to play with some new toys. What a fun afternoon!

Here's the whole gang. Our parents were shocked when we all sat like champs for the pictures. I showed my mom since I overheard her say, Cameron will never sit still for the picture. Think again, lady!

And this is where things just got plain old nuts. Of course, Leah & I kept our cool amongst the chaos.

I love my Leah!

Story time! You may wonder where I am... just keep looking beyond the babies. Yep, that'd be me in the back. The Lone Ranger.

And not only was I off by myself during the majority of story time, but I was also facing the wall with my back to the group. Not the proudest moment my mom has ever had. But she loves me for who I am. And that's someone special & out of the ordinary. Not weird, just different. Yeah.

Heeeelllllooooo, beautiful!
