It was a great Christmas!

We had an awesome Christmas this year & Reese enjoyed the heck out of her very first Christmas!

Grandma & Grandpa got me an amazing Lightening McQueen that I can actually drive! I was seriously in shock when I first saw it! I've been a bit intimidated driving it, but I'll get the hang of it soon enough!

Hope everyone else had a wonderful Christmas too and an awesome New Year! Goodbye 2011 & hello 2012... can't wait to discover what the new year will bring!

My First Christmas!

I'm excited that this is my very first Christmas & I wanted to take a moment to wish you all a Merry Christmas & a Happy New Year!!

Wishing you a Merry Christmas & a Happy New Year!

Since we don't have any snow in the 80 degree weather of Florida, Mommy decided to make some for me & Leah to play in!

And while we were at it, we just wanted to wish you all a Merry Christmas!

And a very HAPPY New Year!!

Busch Gardens Fun

This past Sunday I had a one-on-one day with my Mommy. It was so nice since those moments haven't been happening quite as often now that my parents are busy with Baby Reese. Don't get me wrong, I'm definitely not neglected, but things have just been a little different. Darn babies!

We headed to Busch Gardens in the morning, had some breakfast at McDonald's on the way & met up with Grandma, Grandpa, Uncle Mike, Auntie Mel, Auntie Lauren, Maddy & Mikayla. We all have season passes & wanted to celebrate Uncle Mike's & Grandpa's birthdays. Daddy stayed home with Reese so she wouldn't get sick & we could have a more relaxing day.

I think my favorite part was when we fed the Lorikeets! We had a blast & laughed our heads off when the birds landed on us..

Mommy had tears streaming down her face when one landed on my head, that's how hard she was laughing!

And I got some snuggle time with Auntie Lauren!

I always love checking out all of the animals!

But the best part was spending the day with my family. It wasn't the same without Daddy or Reese but we still had a ton of fun!!

2 Week Doctor's Appointment

Yesterday Mommy & Grandma took me to the pediatrician for my 2 week well baby visit. The appointment was basically just a weight/length check & I'm doing great!

Stats so far:

Birth: 7#, 1oz
Weight at 3 days old (11/17/11): 6#, 9oz
Weight at 2 weeks (12/1/11): 7#, 9oz (23rd percentile)

Length at birth: 19.5"
Length at 3 days: 19.75"
Length at 2 weeks: 21"(72%)

Head circumference at 2 weeks: 14" (35%)

So I gained a full pound in two weeks time!! The doctor was very impressed with my progress.. I've been eating like a champ & getting plumper by the day!

Holiday Fun

I had so much fun celebrating my fourth Thanksgiving! I even got to skip my nap that day... woo hooo! I spent time with my family & had a blast playing with my cousins as we zipped around outside on our bikes & scooters.

After dinner Mikayla & I enjoyed some chocolate chip cookies. Yum yum!

And on Friday we headed to the Christmas tree farm to pick our tree. After my nap I was even able to help Mommy & Daddy decorate it. So far I'm having a blast this holiday season!

Recent Happenings

I've been enjoying the past week & getting to know my new baby sister, Reese! I've been home from day care & spending time with my family & getting to know my sister. I love her lots & give her loads of kisses!

Since Grandma is here helping, Mommy has had time to take me outside to play & make sure I'm staying entertained. Yesterday we went outside to ride bikes & color the sidewalk with chalk. Later I painted a portrait of Finn McMissile that my mommy is proudly displaying on the fridge. Today we rode my bike to the park & played with my friends.

Friday I was able to spend some time with my good buddy, Taylor. I'm such a big helper with her & make sure she's happy & entertained. I've been a busy boy lately & lots has been going on in our lives!

What a Fun Weekend!

Friday after school it was nice & chilly outside so I rode my bike all around & spent some time with Mommy. We had such a good time & I was being such a cute, sweet & charming boy! I'm good at charming the socks off my mom!

And I had a lot of fun playing with a stick! It's the little things in life that make me happy...

Saturday morning we went & got some breakfast & then my parents were taking me to a surprise destination. It turns out we were going to see Puss in Boots! When Mommy picked me up at daycare last week, I was playing with a little Puss toy & told her I wanted to see the movie. It was very cute & I sat in the theater like such a good boy as usual!

Then this morning we got breakfast at Panera & headed to an adorable beach park where I played & kicked around in the water.

Luckily my mom keeps extra clothes for me in the car because I got soaked! But I had a blast & that's all that matters! It was pretty cool at the beach though because I got to see a bunch of little crabs which are apparently called Fiddler crabs. This weekend was jam-packed with Mommy/Daddy time since my parents head to the hospital tonight for Baby Reese's birthday which should be tomorrow. That's right, I'm going to be a big brother!!

Bouncing Fun

Saturday Mommy & Daddy took me to a super cool place called Gator Fred's after my nap. I had so much fun & seriously could have stayed for another couple of hours if they would have let me!

There were a bunch of bounce houses, mazes & slides to explore. I did plenty of climbing & jumping!

Driving cars too!

And even grocery shopping in a super hero costume! Who knew my muscles could be so huge?!

I had a great time & cannot wait to go back!

Happy Halloween!

This Halloween I decided I wanted to be Woody! Saturday my Mommy let me try on my costume & I was absolutely thrilled with how I looked! I kept yelling, "Yee-haw!" as I walked around the house.

We practiced my lines for the big day... As my parents pretended to give me candy, I'd say, "Trick-or-Treat!" Then I'd say, "Thank you!"

When I tried my costume on, my mommy saw me reaching back saying, "Where's my string?" At first Mommy wasn't sure what I was talking about until it dawned on her that I meant the pull-string that Woody has on his back! I am one creative cookie! So Mommy picked up some clear shower curtain rings & Daddy found a rope to tie around my waist & feed out the back of my costume. We make a good team!

At school yesterday I was able to wear my costume & head to the makeshift pumpkin patch my teachers created. We had a great day! When I got home we headed to Auntie Kelly & Uncle Matt's house so I could trick-or-treat with Leah.

Leah was an adorable bumble bee & we had such a great time wracking up the candy! We both filled our pumpkins & our bellies with candy until it was time to head back home. My fourth Halloween was a definite success! And as my Mommy types this post for me, I can be found sleeping in my bed with my full costume on. Oh yes, that's how I roll!

Pumpkin Patch!

Saturday morning was incredibly beautiful as we headed to the Hunsader Farms pumpkin patch. It was our second time going & we had an absolute blast!

Auntie Kelly & Leah came with us, but Uncle Matt had to stay behind since he was working.

We wandered through a hay maze, looked at pumpkins, saw a circus, ate fair food & just enjoyed the beautiful weather.

It was a fantastic way to enjoy Fall & get ready for Halloween!!

Bath Time Fun

I was goofing off in the bathtub the other night as my daddy tested out our new camera. I have fun no matter what I'm doing & bath time is definitely no exception! Sometimes I argue needing to take a bath & then I argue when it's time to get out of the bath. Just can't win with me!

Mommy & Daddy always tell me I'm coconuts after I picked that line up from Jake & the Neverland Pirates. They're stealing my material! But, I have to admit, I am coco-nuts. Since my parents work all day while I'm at school, we make the most out of our evenings & have so much fun together. We really love each other lots! My mommy always asks, How much do I love you? And I say, Soooooo much!

We're lucky to have each other!

Birthday Boy!

Here's a video from my birthday! I was enjoying the heck out of licking the cake batter from the mixers! Hey, you're only three once, right?

Fall Festival

Saturday we headed to a Fall fest about 45 minutes from our house & ended up having such a great time! It was a pretty small festival but I had a blast jumping in the bounce houses & going down this slide dozens upon dozens of times.

We also made a pit stop into the cutest, most quaint bakery! I devoured the ghost cupcake I chose & didn't bother to share even the smallest bite with my mom & dad!

It was a great family day! I love weekends!

My Birthday Weekend

Friday night I went to sleep a 2 year old & Saturday I woke up a 3 year old! That's right, Saturday was my 3rd birthday!!

We started the day with yummy pumpkin pancakes & then headed to Busch Gardens.

When we got home it was time to decorate the birthday cake my mommy made for me!

After cake it was present time! Mommy wanted to get me a book she loves called, On the Night You Were Born... by the time she got to the end, she was teary-eyed. It's quite the sweet, touching book! I also got a really cool, roaring dinosaur from Mommy & Daddy which is super cool!

Sunday it was party time & I couldn't wait to see my friends & family.

We had such a great time & I utterly adored my cake! I have some good taste... I did choose my cake, after all! Mommy & I went to Publix last week & she let me pick whichever cake I wanted. I decided on Buzz & Woody & that's how we picked the party's theme of Toy Story.

We ended the party with a cake for Auntie Lauren since today is her birthday. Happy Birthday, Auntie Lauren!! Hope your day is wonderful!

My birthday weekend was absolutely perfect & I had such an amazing time! Being three has proven to be pretty sweet so far! And I still have the rest of the week off from daycare to spend with my Grammy! I'm a lucky fella!

Disney Vacation

For the past month or so, my parents have been telling me that we're going to see Mickey Mouse at Disney World in honor of my third birthday. Well, that weekend finally arrived as we headed out for our little vacation on Thursday morning!

We stayed at the All Star Movies Resort & explored the grounds after checking in. I was delighted to see massive Toy Story statues all around!!

We grabbed some lunch, swam & then went back to our room to relax before dinner.

Dinner was AMAZING at the T-Rex Cafe!!! Last week my parents showed me pictures & videos of both the T-Rex Cafe & the Rainforest Cafe & I chose T-Rex.

I don't think I'll ever eat at such a cool place again! We were seated in the Ice Age Room where the whole room changed colors every so often. And every fifteen minutes there was a meteor shower which was way too cool. While we waited for our food to arrive, Mommy took me around the restaurant & we looked at all the dinosaurs. Anytime Mommy or Daddy would put their hands out toward them I would say in a very serious voice, Don't touch the dinosaurs!!

Friday we had an absolute blast at the Magic Kingdom! Hop over to Mommy's Blog to see those pictures. Saturday morning we went to eat breakfast with Minnie, Donald & Goofy which was wonderful!

I was able to meet & hug the characters which was so cool! I can't wait to go back to school tomorrow so I can tell all of my friends about it!

If that wasn't cool enough, Goofy even sang Happy Birthday to me!! I will never ever forget my very first trip to Disney World! I am one lucky boy!!
