Little fishies!

When I found out we were going to Grandma & Grandpa's to celebrate Mother's Day, I literally counted down the days as I typically do.  Wednesday morning, when I wake up three more times we're going?  My parents think I'm pretty cute & sweet!  For good reason too!

We were swimming fools this weekend!

When Reese woke up from her nap & saw us swimming, she wanted to put her feet in.

Which quickly progressed to her hands...

Well, you can see that she eventually ended up in the pool!  Mom slapped on a swimmy diaper & she was good to go; bathing suits are so overrated!  As you can see from this picture, Daddy thought the water was rather cold!

Reese thought the water was just right!

I was back together with my partner in crime, Mikayla!

And we were able to celebrate Maddy's 10th birthday.

Maddy was pretty excited about her new kicks & wore them the rest of the weekend!

Speaking of birthdays, today is my Grandma's birthday!  I pretty much made her day when I called & sang to her!  Happy birthday, Grandma, we love you lots!  Mother's Day was so much fun, playing with my cousin's & celebrating the wonderful Mommy's of the family!  You can head over to Mommy's blog to see more pictures from the weekend.

The girls

Tay Tay came over for a play date yesterday & we really did it up girly style!

We had a nice picnic with oranges, cheese & crackers & pie!

I'm soooo lucky to have such a wonderful friend; we'll be besties forever!  Sometimes we have our spats or don't share like we should, but in the end we love each other lots!

Look at this mischievous grin!

We took turns taking stroller rides...

and since our "picnic" was just plastic food, we worked up quite the appetite for real snacks!  Us girls surely know how to eat; there was a lot of that going down on our play date!

Told you!

Pizza time!

I counted down the days to Easter weekend all week & was so excited when it finally came & I was able to spend some time with my cousins & my family!

Saturday night we made homemade pizzas & us kids were able to create our own masterpieces!

We topped our zaas with a cheese & sausage...

As you can tell, we were pretty eager for our pizzas to finish!

But, before we knew it, it was time to chow down!!

My little sis missed out on pizza night since she was already fast asleep, but she definitely did her fair share of eating over the weekend.  We had a very happy Easter & hope you did too!

Birthday fun!

We recently celebrated our friend Aliyah's second birthday & had such a great time!

We played for an hour with a bunch of bounce houses, ate pizza & cake & then headed over the gymnastics portion of the party.

Mommy was reminded of her oooollldd days of grammar school when they used to play with the parachute in gym class.  Aliyah got to sit in the middle as we all sang happy birthday & walked around with the parachute.  It was so sweet!

I took a quick breather with the birthday girl since we were pooped from playing!  I'm really thinking my 5th birthday party will be celebrated at this location.  Yes, I still have 6 months & 5 days until my birthday, but if you know my mom at all, you realize she's a planner.  My parents LOVE to joke that they're throwing me a princess party, specifically Sofia the First.  But they know better!! I'm having a Mario party!

This party reminded of us so much of Mikayla's third birthday at the YMCA from this post.  Reese was yet to be born though, so this was her fist time jumping in the sea of foam cubes!

I pretended that I was in the water & the other kids were sharks!  We had such a fun time celebrating Aliyah's birthday!

Hot lava, hot lava!

This past weekend, my dad showed me a game he & Mommy used to play when they were kids called Hot Lava.  You throw a bunch of couch cushions around the floor & step on them while avoiding the floor which is hot lava!

It's been a fun evening activity since & Reese seems to love it too!

Awe, my sissy is blowing you a kiss!  She's been walking SO MUCH since this weekend.  It appears she's gotten over her fear of walking & love of crawling because she is all over the place & very confident on her feet!

Hanging out as a family & playing in our open front room before bed has been so much fun!

Baby Einstein

When I was a baby, I UH-DORED Baby Einstein!  My mommy could literally put me in my bouncer & clean the house as I happily bopped & watched.

Fast forward more than three years later and I'm still a big fan.  My sister, on the other hand, couldn't care less.  Thursday Mommy put Numbers Nursery on to occupy Reese as she put dinner together.  Reese was still roaming the house, getting into things, but not me!  It sucked me in, hook, line & sinker!

In other happenings, the other night I had a hankering to wear my Mario Halloween costume as we played pretend with my Mario, Luigi & Peach race cars, zipping around the house.  On a side note, I never, ever like to lose a race.  Mommy & Daddy are working on me being less of a sore loser!

And Mommy & Sissy had some goofy snuggle time as the evening wound down.  Reese is asleep before seven o' clock each night & we always watch Mickey Mouse Clubhouse before she goes to bed.  Since I know how much she loves it, I always request it.  I love making my baby sister happy!  Her favorite part of the show is dancing to the Hotdog Dance!  I'm Mickey, Mommy is Minny, Daddy is Goofy & Reese is Daisy.  We all have to dance like our characters.  That's what's going on around here, hope you're all doing great too!

15 month stats

I was pleasantly surprised when I saw Mommy arrive early at daycare to pick me up.  I was, however, not pleased to see that we were headed to the doctor for my fifteen month well-visit.  Cameron unexpectedly came with since Mommy didn't have the heart to leave him behind at daycare.  We were glad to have my big brother along for the trip though; he's a good guy!

Unfortunately Cam smacked his head as we headed back to the exam room since he was distractedly talking to the sweet nurse who was taking us back.

After cleaning his bleeding wound, he got a bandaid & a Lightening McQueen icepack & ended up feeling much better!

I was more upset about them taking my measurements than I was over the two shots they gave me!

So, how have I grown over the past fifteen months?

Height:  30.5" (50%)
Weight: 23.88# (66%)
Head Circumference: 18.9" (94%)

Here's a link from Cameron's 15 month visit.  He weighed 4.7# more than me, but we're both in the 66% & he was 3.5" taller than me.

In other happenings, this past weekend we sought out a free outing & found that the Tampa Bay Rays were hosting their fan fest.

Uncle Matt, Auntie Kelly & the girls met up with us & Cam & Leah had a great time running the bases!

Samantha & I raided the diaper bag for food as they were running.

Speaking of Samantha, the other day we just happened to go to school in the exact same outfit!  Mommy bought all the girls in the group this outfit for Christmas, but it was funny to see that we matched without planning it.  Of course I was not happy when Mommy set me down to take this picture.  I was scared she was going to turn around & leave me again!

After school, we went out back to look at the ducks & were happy to see them trot up to us, looking for food.  We didn't want to let them down, so Daddy grabbed a bag of hamburger buns & we fed them an evening snack!

And when the mail came, we saw that Auntie Erika sent us Valentine's cards!

Despite my two shots today, I've been in good spirits all evening & managed to raid the Tupperware drawer as I so love!
