I'm TWO!

Today when I awoke, I thought it might just be like any other day. But when my grammy scooped me out of bed & I saw my Uncle Nick sleeping on a blowup bed in the living room & my papa popped out & my mommy started serenading me with Happy Birthday to You... I quickly discovered that this was certainly a special day!!

A very special day indeed! It's my second birthday today!!

I hadn't seen my papa or Uncle Nick since I was fifteen months old, so this was a very special surprise! I got to hang with my uncle as my grammy whipped me up a scrumptious breakfast. Am I a lucky guy or what?

Look how beautiful my grammy is, bringing our breakfast outside so we could dine al fresco!

My grammy's breakfast specialty is a delicious egg scramble with bacon & sauteed sweet onions. Yum!

And I'm positive that I melted my papa's heart with my sweet kisses!

Just when I didn't think the day could get any better, I found that my mom & dad took the day off work to celebrate with me! They tired me out at the park so I could take an early nap to be ready for the rest of our adventures.

And yes people, although I am now two, I still drool from time to time. Lay off, it's my birthday!

So big!

My Uncle Nick was being a goofball!

And while I napped my uncle & papa were assembling my present from Uncle Nick! This tricycle is the bees knees; so retro looking!

After my nap it was off to Tampa to hang at Channelside for a bit before dinner. Our initial plan included the aquarium, but then we discovered that they closed at 5 so it wouldn't have been worth it. But, I had a great time & this nice girl even made me a race car for my birthday. Well, my dad did have to tip her, but that's besides the point!

Pretty cool, huh?

And then as we headed to dinner at the Tampa Bay Brewing Company in Ybor City, we were so tickled to see this rooster with her five adorable babies!!

And as we finished dinner & headed back to the car, it was my grammy who was tickled to find that I held her hand as Mommy pushed me in my stroller. And I held her hand for a really long time!

I have to say that it was an amazing day & so far being two feels darn good! And a little birdie told me that today was only half the excitement as tomorrow is my Lightening McQueen party!! Hip, hip, horray!
