Friday night my Auntie Lo Lo, Uncle Josh, Auntie Kelly, Uncle Matt, & most importantly, Leah came over to celebrate mommy's birthday.



Look at how big my best gal is getting!



It's amazing that Leah didn't recoil in horror at the site of my dad's beard! That thing looks like a raccoon died on his face! Luckily mommy convinced him to trim it yesterday! Dad's growing his beard in honor of the Blackhawks who are going to the Stanley Cup Finals!! GO HAWKS!





I ended the night by enjoying an absolutely phenomenal dessert that my Auntie Lo Lo prepared. These were almost too pretty to eat!



I did say almost!

Conducting Business

Some people get to take the weekends off & spend Saturday mornings relaxing, sipping coffee & taking it easy. Not me! Someone's got to earn a living around here. So, I started my weekend off by conducting some business. What sort of business? Well, quite frankly, that's none of your business & I appreciate you staying out of my personal affairs. Only kidding! Cake Boss

This weekend we were not only celebrating Mother's Day but also my cousin Madelyn's 7th birthday!!





After dinner it was time for cake & I was super excited! As we sang happy birthday, I couldn't help but notice the delectable cake perched right in front of my face. After a quick internal battle, I decided to take my teeny finger & help myself to a taste. Only a little taste.





After tasting the sweet frosting on my lips, I lost complete control & blacked out. When I came to, after what feels like hours later, the whole room was erupted in laughter, I had frosting all over my hands & face & my head was abuzz with a sugar rush! After seeing these pictures I'm quite horrified of my behavior! Oh well, it was worth it!!

Pool Party

Last Saturday when my Grammy was visiting, I was so surprised to wake up from my nap & find Leah swimming in my back yard! My mom took lots of cute pictures, but wasn't able to post them since we were swimming in the nude. I would have disowned her had she done that to us!



We even got sprayed with the hose! I was running around the yard like a nut, enjoying the heck out of it!



I was such a bathing beauty as I lounged poolside.





And we ended the night with a snuggle with Grammy as she let us play a game on her computer!
