I'm a Swimmin Fool!
We spent the weekend at Grandma & Grandpa's condo at the beach & I had a ball swimming with Daddy this morning!
My dad was trying to teach me how to stay afloat with my swimmies on but I still have a ways to go since I don't get enough pool time. I'll have to work on kicking my feet!
But even though I didn't perform like an Olympian swimmer, I still had a lot of fun & was so happy to be with Mommy & Daddy!
I thought it was absolutely hilarious to splash my dad in the face as I smacked at the water!
I know that my weekend was awesome & I hope yours was too!

the beatles/ in my life
Mommy sings this song to me nearly every night at bedtime & I absolutely love it! She replaces the "you" with "Cam." So instead of, "In my life, I love you more..." she'll sing, "In my life, I love Cam more!"

Blast Off!
I had an absolute blast this morning as my dad blasted me off into what felt like outer space!
I am so happy that Mommy & Daddy are home with me today after they decided to take the day after Super Bowl Sunday off.
We've played & hung out but a lot of the afternoon has involved Daddy trying his pants off to get me to take a nap. I'm positively stubborn & my dad is positively persistent so he's still trying after an hour or so. I can tell you that my mom would have given up after about fifteen minutes since she doesn't have patience like Daddy.
My parents are sure that I'm not ready for a toddler bed though so it's likely that they're going to invest in one of those crib tents to prevent me from climbing out.
Daddy's reading Healthy Sleep Habits, Happy Child by Marc Weissbluth to get some pointers since I'm too young to be giving up my naps. I take naps every day at daycare on my mat, but my teacher has to sit next to me & pat my back for about fifteen minutes until I fall asleep. My parents are armed & ready so it's go-time. We'll see how things pan out!
UPDATE: Rats! I lost & Daddy won since I FINALLY ended up taking a 2 hour nap!

Chicago Time
I was able to enjoy some snow time as we were staying at Grammy & Papa's house in Illinois last week. This was my second time in the snow since we were able to visit Illinois Christmas of 2009. Click here & here to check out my first time in the snow. I was only 15 months old then so now that I'm 28 months old, I'm a new man with many new capabilities & tricks!
My favorite part was probably throwing snow at Mommy & Daddy. Mommy was very happy with this as she was able to get lots of smiling pictures of me!
And I took some time to work on my slap shot! Maybe I'll play for the Chicago Blackhawks one day & I'll make so much money that I'll buy a house in Chicago so my mom & dad can be snow birds!
I was able to sit on the neighbor's swing again! If you clicked on the links to my first time in the snow, you'll see some majorly cute pictures of me on this swing.
I even helped shovel the ice so the neighborhood kids could skate. It was so cool that the pond was frozen solid this year.
It was so great to catch up with Aunt Elaine & Uncle Chuck!
And share some snacks with Grammy!
I was so happy to visit with my Great Grandma Mociute (that's Grandma in Lithuanian).
My parents were so thrilled that I was on my best behavior on the plane both ways. As we left Chicago for Florida, I was so excited to spot the Disney plane!! As you can see, Buzz & Woody enjoyed the view with me!
I had such a great time catching up with family & friends & enjoying the snow! We're planning on heading back up for Christmas this year, so I'll experience snow twice in one year!
