After my bath Saturday night, I got to play around in the buff! And I didn't even pee on the carpet this time!

Friday, October 2nd was the rehearsal for my Auntie Lauren & Uncle Gregg's wedding. I was under quite a bit of pressure since I was the ring bearer! Everything seemed to be in order though, my Radio Flyer wagon was all decorated, my suit was ready to go & I had a fresh, new haircut.

My Grammy was a HUGE help to my parents this weekend! They were able to focus on the wedding while I was taken such wonderful care of!

My First Haircut!

Mommy gave me my first haircut the day before I was to be ring bearer at my Auntie Lauren & Uncle Gregg's wedding! My Uncle Nick was nice enough to hold me during (he had just gotten his hair cut by Mommy right before me).

Granted, I only have a wee bit o' blond fuzz on my head, but it was getting quite long & wispy... not necessarily ideal for a cool, little spike! I sat still like a good boy & handled it like a champ!

Sunday Family Fun

Sunday morning was absolutely great! We all got up early, drank coffee, (well, I surely didn't! I'm just a baby!) & spent time together as Grammy made a delicious breakfast. I was able to play with some of my new toys and be with my Auntie Erika & Papa before they had to fly back to IL. I'll miss them very much, but look forward to seeing them in December!

Party Time! Excellent!

So, Saturday, September 26th was my first birthday party! That just so happened to be the day I came home from the hospital just one year ago! It also happened to be my Auntie Lauren's Golden Birthday! Thank you for sharing the lime light with me, Auntie, I love you so much!

We decided to do a Chicago Bears themed party since it's the kickoff of the football season & we also happen to love the Bears. I'm not quite sure that my parents are going to give me a choice to be a fan; I believe it's mandatory to be a part of this family. Okay, I'm in!

My Auntie Lauren & Uncle Gregg were so nice to bring a huge pan of baked ziti & buffalo chicken dip which were both AMAZING! I'm so lucky to have such a wonderful family. One week from the day of my party, I'll be Auntie Lauren & Uncle Gregg's ring bearer at their wedding; I cannot wait!

My Auntie Kelly & Uncle Matt were incredibly thoughtful to make this book previewing my first year of life. As you can see, Mommy was very excited about it! We will cherish this book forever!

I'm so very lucky to have so many wonderful people in my life who love me & who I love so much! I want to thank everyone for coming to my party & celebrating my big day! And if I'm going to be totally honest, the presents didn't hurt in making the day fantastic!
