Praying for Stellan

My mommy has been following a blog called My Charming Kids for quite some time now. I can really relate to the youngest child since he is about a month younger than I am. However, one thing we don't have in common is that Stellan was diagnosed with SVT or rapid heart rate when he was in his mom's belly at 20 weeks. The doctors told his parents that he would not survive, but from what I know, Stellan is one tough cookie because he was born healthy with no signs of SVT.

When Stellan was 4 months old, SVT again reared it's ugly head & he has been dealing with it since. He's lived a very active & happy life with his family, but unfortunately he is currently very sick again. Please send extra prayers to give Stellan & his family the strength to get though this. God, please protect Stellan; let him fight through this as he did when the odds were against him while he was in his mommy's belly. God, let Stellan grow to be a happy boy who has his whole, exciting life ahead of him.

Hanging at the mall!

After church when I woke up from my morning nap, we headed down to Citrus Park Mall. We had so much fun riding the carousel, people watching & going to BJ's Brew House for some food that we all shared; I absolutely loved the pot stickers! Mom & Dad had a couple of beers, but I won't be getting on on that for another 20 years & 2 months. Overall, it was a fabulous day!

Shopping for Bottles

Shopping at Babies R Us

Happy 10 month birthday to me!

Yesterday I turned ten months, so my parents decided to have a bit of a shindig to celebrate! Auntie Kelly, Uncle Matt & my beautiful girlfriend Leah joined us for pizza & muffins. Mommy & Daddy made ten muffins in honor of each month they've been blessed with me. Leah wore a bow in her hair especially for me! She looked amazing in her pink sleeper & the feeties were so cute! It was a wonderful evening spent with family, friends, food & fun!

Mom & Dad had to corral me while they cooked

Leah is still working on the cereal thing!

Look at those cute, little feeties!

Singing, "happy 10 month birthday to me!"

Oh, I am infatuated with chocolate!

Yum, yum, eat em up!

This was taken today in the morning; you can see
the O in the back of my gullet!

Shop (and eat) till you drop!

This happened to be a very eventful Sunday for us. I woke my mommy up at around 6:30 this morning & we had lots of fun playing & eating flat bread & Cheerios. When my dad got up, we all got ready to go to church where I was able to play in the Mangroves day care center while Mom & Dad attended the service. Everything was great until I decided to be a big shot & weasel my way into the area where the older kids play. Let's just say I added another bump on my head!

After my morning nap, the three of us headed down to Ikea in Tampa. It was very crowded but we still had so much fun; my mom was pretending the cart was a roller coaster by spinning me round & round. The best part was when I was able to devour the Swedish meatballs; they were fantastic! I got a little miffed when my mom or dad had a bite instead of feeding me, but it was all good. In the last picture here, you'll see Arthur, my new storage pack that hangs on the back of my door. Yes, Mom named him Arther; she's always naming everything! We also got a really nice storage shelf to help in keeping our house tidy & my toys stowed away. As Dr. Suess says on one of mys shirts, "I always pick up my play things!" For some reason my mom keeps drilling that into my head; quite odd. Oh well, hope you all had a great weekend. Back to the grind tomorrow!

P.S - Doesn't it seem that most pictures just so happen to be of me eating? Wonder how I keep this amazing bod of mine? Must be a fast metabolism!

Big meatball for a little guy like me! I didn't
actually eat the whole thing; that was just for
effect!

Ahh, looks delish!

Ahh, here comes another meatball!

Mmm, chocolate chip cookie!

And here is Arthur, hanging on my door!

Play time!

Just digging around in my toy box for something to play with!

We love our Saturdays!

This morning I woke up around 6:15, laid in bed with my mom & dad while drinking my bottle & had some cuddle time before we got the day started. First Mommy read me a few books; The Very Quiet Cricket by Eric Carle as well as a couple of touch & feel books which I am loving! The soft, fluffy fur of the chicks, dogs & cats are my favorite!

After reading, Dad whipped up some eggs which happened to be delectable! I also enjoyed cherries for the first time today! They were sweet & absolutely delicious.. I would have kept eating them, but Mommy was worried I'd get the trots! Stella & Casper hung out with us, hoping to get some droppings; let's say they had a successful morning! After breakfast, it was on to my jumper where I am currently watching Baby Monet. Uh, yeah, that's right, I can watch that & keep up on my blog. Guess I'm a multi-tasker like my mom!

It's Friday Night! Woo Hoo!

It's been quite a long week for me at day care; I've added a few more bumps & bruises to the mounting collection on my head! Oh well, I guess practice makes perfect. We started our weekend by playing on the floor & then making & eating pizza! It was my first night participating in Mommy & Daddy's tradition of making Friday Night Pizza! It was delicious! You can check out my mom's blog to see see what she put on the pizza! Happy Friday to all!

Mommy wow, I'm a big kid now!

This morning when I woke up, I anxiously awaited to see if it would be my mommy or daddy greeting me. Well, when my mommy came into my room, she found me standing in my crib! This is the second time she has found me this way & it's just another reminder of how big I'm getting! I'm so happy that it's Saturday morning & I have the whole day to play with my parents. Then tonight I'll be spending the evening with my Auntie Lauren & Uncle Gregg since my mom & dad will be getting all gussied up to go to a wedding. Hope you all have a wonderful weekend!

Notice the bruises on my head? I'm still trying to get this standing thing down!

Ah! Victory!

The moment Daddy has been anticipating!

Daddy has been wanting to make his own beer since before I was even a twinkle in his eye! Well, the moment has arrived & he is almost ready to present The Black Pug Brewery's first beer, Perno Pale Ale! Here's my daddy enjoying his first beer with his Puggy at his side!

Fourth of July Weekend

We had a wonderful time celebrating our independence by swimming, grilling & eating burgers, pasta salad, corn on the cob, beef sandwiches & cole slaw! I got to swim at my Auntie Lo Lo & Uncle Josh's community pool & then on the 5th we went to Grandma & Grandpa's condo to swim with my cousins. It was a wonderful weekend & I even got to spend it with my Auntie Erika & Grammy which made it that much better!

Madeline is such a big girl with no swimmies!

There's Mikayla!

This is my new portable high chair! When I'm done eating I get to play with this toy!

The wonders of the water

We kicked off the long, 4th of July weekend by going to the Florida Aquarium today. Grammy treated all of us & we had a fabulous time! I saw many amazing fish, birds & amphibians & even got to cool off at the aquarium's splash pad! We ended the day with a trip to Bahama Breeze for dinner where I sat in my highchair like a big boy the entire time. I had a meal fit for a king; chicken, talapia, asparagus, garlic mashed potatoes & even some chocolate pineapple upside down cake! I look forward to spending the rest of the weekend celebrating our independence, swimming, & hanging out with my family and friends.

God bless America!

This guy looks hungry!

Holy cow! This grouper is HUGE!

Hi! This is my pal, the turtle!

I'm having a blast spending time with my Grammy & Auntie Erika!

Woah, Mommy, these fish are so neat!

Getting blasted by a water gun!

This is awesome!

Speaking of awesome....

Hello, chocolate cake! Welcome to my belly!
